Camp Schedule: 

All camp days are scheduled for Thursday’s at 6:30 p.m. at the Floresville City River Park.

• September 10- Introduction (no dogs)
• September 17- Basic Equipment
• September 24- Grooming Basics
• October 1- Veterinary Care
• October 8- Nutrition
• October 15- State 4-H Dog Show/ Camp Awards

Camp Updates:

1. DAY 1- NO DOGS ALLOWED (September 10 only)
   1. The first day of camp we will discuss the upcoming camp, rules & guidelines, required equipment so it wont be necessary to bring your dog.
2. Vaccinations REQUIRED!
   1. Bring your vaccination records with you on the first day of camp!
   2. Vaccines we will require are Rabies, DHLP, and Bordetella
3. Aggressive dogs NOT ALLOWED!
   1. To keep everyone safe, no aggressive dogs (towards humans and/or dogs) may attend.
   2. You are still welcome to attend without your dog! We will have plenty of education and activities that don’t require your dog, so you are still welcome to attend!

COVID-19 Requirements

• Participants, their parent/guardian, and their pets must maintain 6 feet of social distance between themselves and others not in their party.
• Only one parent/guardian may attend with the participant.
• Masks are required when social distancing cannot be met (BRING MASKS WITH YOU).
  • Members will not be required to wear a mask during camp days so long as social distancing can be met between themselves and others not in their party.
• If you or someone in your immediately family/group are not feeling well, are showing any symptoms associated with COVID-19, and/or have tested positive for COVID-19, please stay home!
• Upon arrival members will be required to sign the COVID-19 Screening Form (preview here) in order to attend the event.
• Any updates and /or additional guidance will be provided to attendees as it is made available.
